When using S3, you may find that linking to files sends the user to view the file link, instead of forcing a download directly to their device. In order to fix this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your S3 bucket and select the files you would like to edit.
  2. Then, click "actions" >> "Change metadata".
  3. Select a key of "Content Disposition", and a value of "Attachment".
