When using S3, you may find that linking to files sends the user to view the file link, instead of forcing a download directly to their device. In order to fix this, follow these steps:
- Go to your S3 bucket and select the files you would like to edit.
- Then, click "actions" >> "Change metadata".
- Select a key of "Content Disposition", and a value of "Attachment".
The screenshot below shows what this metadata should look like:
